Bonnie was
watching the news one day. The news anchor was talking about what measures
should be taken when an earthquake strikes. This was useful because many
earthquakes occur in Taiwan due to its location. The most important things
Bonnie remembered from this were not to panic, stay calm, and hide below the
beam of the roof for protection.
The following
day, a big earthquake hit when Bonnie was in the office. The massive vibrations
caused the paintings hanging on the walls to shake, the potted plants on the
desks to nearly fall off , and some books on the bookshelves to fall onto the
ground.
