Vinicunca祕魯彩虹山

Vinicunca is a uniquely colorful mountain hidden deep in the Ausangate mountain range of the Peruvian Andes. Its name means“seven color mountain” in Quechua, the local language. It is not easy to fi nd and most visitors hire a guide to reach the top. However, it is well worth the effort to see its painted peaks.

The colorful stripes of yellow, green, red, and purple come from mineral deposits on the sandstone mountain. Vinicunca only recently became a tourist hotspot after the ice covering it melted, revealing the colorful mountain below.

祕魯彩虹山是座有著獨特繽紛色彩的山，深藏在位於祕魯的安地斯山中的奧桑加特山脈。它的名字在當地的克丘亞語中代表「七彩的山」。它不容易找到，而且大多數的遊客要登頂的話會僱用一位導遊。
