Several companies are reimagining the modern office and work area to address problems created by the open-plan layout. One of these companies is ROOM, a startup that has designed an office phone booth that can provide peace and privacy. The soundproof booth features a glass door and comes with a chair, phone, and a small desk. Since it is quite small, the ROOM booth is not meant to be a replacement for one’s main workspace.
