But a prison in Norway called Halden Fengsel has a different goal. Rather than
focus on punishment, the prison aims to turn inmates into future good
neighbors.
A warden named Are Hoidal believes that
his prison can give inmates education and social skills. Hoidal thinks these
skills will allow inmates to leave a life of crime behind.
