Allison invited her friend to attend the New Year’s Eve celebration held by the city government. That night, inside the MRT station, they had to wait for 20 minutes in a long line. Once on the MRT, they could barely breathe or even stand against the wall because it was too crowded.

Since they were running out of time before the midnight countdown, they headed for the square right after they got off. Luckily enough, they made it there just in time. As the first seconds of the new year arrived, they were amazed at the beautiful display of fireworks.
