Cheong Wa Dae undergoing exodus of officials ahead of April general election 4

Cheong Wa Dae spokeswoman Ko Min-jung has tendered her resignation to run in the parliamentary general election slated for April 15.
Including those who left earlier, nearly 60 to 70 former presidential officials are preparing to seek the National Assembly seat. This situation raises concerns that Cheong Wa Dae is serving as a means for ruling party candidates to boost their resumes.
It has been common that Cheong Wa Dae officials or ministers quit and seek an Assembly seat or a municipality head position, and they usually win because their experience of working at the presidential office is an advantage when the administration is still gaining large public support.
