In the war to end all wars, also known as World War I, two young soldiers, Schofield and Blake, are given a very dangerous mission. They must go behind enemy lines and get a message to 1,600 soldiers. These soldiers are 24 hours away from marching into a trap, but they don’t know it.

If Schofield and Blake don’t make it in time, the troops will face certain death. Starring Colin Firth, Benedict Cumberbatch, and others, 1917 tries to show viewers what it feels like to be in trouble in the middle of an unsafe battlefield.
