Health care workers at the forefront of South
Korea’s virus battle are coming up with novel ways to better arm themselves.
位於南韓抗疫前線的醫療照護人員,正想出加強武裝自己的新奇法子。
A virus testing booth developed by a
doctor at a public health center in southern Busan allows health workers to
wear minimum protection as they swab patients.
由該國南部釜山一名公共衛生中心醫師研發的一種病毒檢測亭,讓醫療人員在用棉花拭子採集檢體時,得以穿戴最少的防護裝備。
"Health care providers require no
personal protective equipment as they stand inside the booth and take samples
from patients using the gloves protruding outwards," said Dr Ahn Yeo-hyun,
who has been working there since December 2016.
「提供醫療照護的人員,當他們站在這種亭子內,用向外伸出的手套採集病人身上的樣本時,不需要任何個人防護裝備」,自2016年12月起在該中心服務至今的安餘賢博士說道。
