Amazon’s Alexa might soon replicate the
voice of family members - even if they’re dead.
亞馬遜公司的智慧語音助理Alexa或許很快就能複製家人的聲音，即使他們已不在人世。
The capability, unveiled at Amazon’s
Re:Mars conference in Las Vegas, is in development and would allow the virtual
assistant to mimic the voice of a specific person based on a less than a minute
of provided recording.
亞馬遜在拉斯維加斯Re:Mars大會上展示這項仍在研發中的技術，稱虛擬助理將可根據所提供的不到1分鐘的錄音，模仿特定人物的聲音。
Rohit Prasad, senior vice president and
head scientist for Alexa, said that the desire behind the feature was to build
greater trust in the interactions users have with Alexa.

asks "Alexa, can Grandma finish reading me the Wizard of Oz?" Alexa then
switches to another voice mimicking the child’s grandmother and continues to
