Irwin Family Helps Animals Threatened by Australian Fires厄文家族援助澳洲祝融受難動物

Over several months in 2019 and 2020, many animals died and lost their homes as a result of fires in Australia. However, despite the tragedy, people are still doing everything they can to help animals that are in need. One family that is doing their part is the Irwin family, who own and operate the Australia Zoo in Queensland, Australia. The Irwins are well-known thanks to Steve Irwin, who brought Australia’s wildlife to the attention of the world on the famous Crocodile Hunter TV program.

As Australia faced its worst season of wildfires in many years, the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital was busier than ever, taking in animals rescued from the disastrous fires. As a result of the wildfires, the hospital received nearly 1,500 animals in December 2019 alone.
