While there are no lost souls in a ghost kitchen, there are some cons. Although many look at ghost kitchens as a positive development, there are some negative aspects as well. One is the cost to the environment. Take-out food is incredibly wasteful. Plates, bowls, chopsticks, forks, and knives are all used only once. With climate change on everyone’s mind, can we afford to keep producing more waste?
