One of the main
obstacles to being creative is called “fear of failure.” In other words, some
people think they won’t be good at writing, drawing, etc., so they just don’t
try. How do you conquer this fear? For starters, in your own mind, change what
“failure” is. For example, you might think failure is painting a picture that
you see as ugly. However, what if “failure” was actually not painting anything
at all?
阻止我們揮灑創意的其中一個絆腳石叫作「害怕失敗」。換言之，有些人覺得自己不擅於寫作、繪畫……等，所以他們乾脆就不嘗試了。你該怎麼戰勝這份恐懼呢？首先，在你心中，改變「失敗」的定義。舉例來說，你可能會覺得所謂失敗就是畫出一幅你認為醜陋的畫。不過，如果真正的「失敗」其實是什麼都不畫呢？
